What Does Competitive Pricing Mean?

People, budgets, and situations are different. There’s no fair way to assess what you need without knowing project details, and expectations. For the most part, its impractical to post rates or fee schedules for anything but the most basic web projects.

If you are starting from ground zero and are wide open about design scheme, data volume, and the level of functionality you want, then no standard pricing chart will inform you fairly. You’re going to need a detailed project outline, and a budget direction.

So, here’s the deal, if you know you want something basic, with specific, basic functionality, and your content needs do not include heavy multimedia, image processing, or lengthy revisions, then the chart below may be useful to you, and you can use it for a rough idea of costs. If you’re really not sure, I can help you figure it out.

Starter Web Site Plans and Pricing

The pricing options below are geared to fairly straightforward web designs, with static content, and a manageable volume of text and images to layout and upload. Anything beyond these options, requires more time investment and conversation about end result expectations.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take for my web site to be completed?

This is a difficult question to answer for more complex sites that are still evolving at the start of development. For standard sites as described in the price chart, the usual turnaround is four to six weeks.

What hours of support do you offer?

Technical support and orientation for running and managing your web site is offered to varying degrees up to seven days a week, but not 24 hours. Support can be arranged on a pre-determined schedule, or as needed, with certain limitations.

Will you update my web site theme, and plugins?

All web site agreements come with updates and technical support for specific periods of time for each agreement.

Can I get sample draft designs of the style of design and layout you might use for my site?

For most projects, a basic home page can be mocked up to show a sample direction the site can go in. In some case, when necessary, up to three home pages layouts can be mocked up. The choice of colors, fonts, imagery, graphics and other design choices, are personal in nature, and ideally, result from thoughtful discussion, in order to avoid scrapping a design that involved considerable time to develop.
